STEM Educational Visit

Chandramohan Foundation, in partnership with Shelf Drilling, provided an opportunity to students of 3 schools from 3rd to 10th grade who belong to the slum community of Mumbai to get an exposure to the Nehru Planetarium, a popular Science Education Centre in Worli, Mumbai, known for its interactive exhibits, live shows, and educational programs on astronomy and space science.

CMF organized visits during the period from Jan’2023 to Feb’2023. A group of 1591 Students, 20 teachers, and 10 Employees participated as part of an educational trip that was supported by Shelf Drilling through its CSR initiative.

The visit to the Nehru Planetarium and Science Centre was a valuable educational experience for the students. They were able to learn about various aspects of astronomy and space science through live shows, exhibits, and workshops. The planetarium’s interactive and engaging approach to education made the subject matter accessible and interesting to the students. Overall, the trip was a great success and the students came away with a deeper understanding of the wonders of the universe.
