Beach Clean-up Drive

CMF, in collaboration with Shelf Drilling, carried out the beach cleaning activity on March 4, 2023, at Dadar Beach, Behind Kriti College. The event’s purpose is to clean up the beach and surrounding areas, removing any litter and debris harmful to the local wildlife or detracting from the area’s natural beauty.

CMF provided the necessary support to take permission from BMC authority for the beach cleaning activity and provided equipment and supplies for the event, including gloves, trash bags, and litter pickers.

  • The waste collected is weighed on the spot and handed over to the municipal ground team.

  • Approximately 166 kg of Sea waste was removed in a single activity, which includes single-use plastic waste, bags, food wrappers, glass, metal waste and clothes.
